casablanca

My friend, Mami brought me back some tea on her last trip to Tokyo visiting family and friends, it’s her favorite, I love it too, Mariage Freres Casablanca tea. Her history with this tea stems from a trip to Europe when she got bumped to first class when they overbooked coach or something, who knows? With comfortable leg room, a nice meal served with amazing tea she’s been hooked on since, who’s complaining? And now that she’s a new mother with a small baby and very little traveling on the brain she often pours herself a cup of iced tea, she’s flying first class to Paris all over again, sweet. Today I’m having iced tea with my beekeeper neighbor’s tangerines from his yard that he dried, just like sweet citrus candy. Thanks Stu for sharing!
